In short
Your data stays on your devices and, if available, in your private Apple iCloud key-value store. We do not use advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking technologies.
Information you choose to store
The app can store habits, daily completion records, cycle history, reminder preferences, and an optional profile containing a name, intention, mantra, and profile photo. Creating a profile is optional.
How information is used
Information stored in Monk Mode is used only to provide the app’s features on your devices: showing your habits and progress, displaying widgets, scheduling a reminder you request, and restoring an iCloud backup when Apple makes that service available. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale.
Where information is stored
Information is stored locally on your iPhone and shared with Monk Mode widgets through an Apple App Group. When iCloud is available, Monk Mode can keep a private backup in the iCloud account signed in on your device. Fizz Software does not operate a server that receives this information and cannot access your private iCloud backup.
Notifications and photos
Daily reminders are scheduled locally by iOS after you grant notification permission. If you choose a profile photo, Apple’s system photo picker provides only the selected image to the app; Monk Mode does not request access to your full photo library.
Tracking, analytics, and third parties
Monk Mode contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, or data broker integration. Apple may process App Store, iCloud, diagnostic, or device information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Sharing and retention
Fizz Software does not receive or sell your in-app data, and does not disclose it to advertising, analytics, or data-broker partners. Your local data remains until you delete it or remove the app. iCloud data is managed through Apple’s services and can be removed with the in-app deletion option.
Delete your data
Open Profile → Data & Privacy → Delete all my data. This removes the profile, habits, progress, cycle history, reminder settings, widget data, and the app’s private iCloud backup. Deleting the app also removes local data, but use the in-app option first if you want the iCloud backup removed.
Security, children, and policy changes
We use Apple platform storage and security features, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Monk Mode is a general-purpose productivity app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated.
